Sunday morning coaches swimming session 8.00-9.00am Medina Leisure Centre, Newport

A fully coached session, depending on age/ability etc. working on triathlon skill swimming, building endurance and tactics for racing. O/W skills taught easily in a pool environment and transition skills from pool to second/third disciplines.

A yearly long distance swim measured on a leaderboard with the BLDSA.

The Isle of Wight Triathlon Club also offer various coached and social cycle rides of differing abilities in groups according to ages with ad hoc Sunday morning group rides for the 12+.

The Isle of Wight Triathlon Club is affiliated to England Athletics, offering all of our athletes from ages 8-80, the opportunity to compete in x/c events on the mainland during the winter season.

The club holds a yearly “club day” which has been run over the past two years in conjunction with coaches from the BTF and Synergie Coaching coming to deliver sessions either in the pool or the sea; cycling sessions including dustbin list cycle test, agility and run sessions.

For our athletes aged 12+ :

Opportunity to enter cycling time trials as we are a CTT affiliated club.
